  1. Become a Catechist in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program (3–6 years)
    Become a catechist in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program for children aged 3–6 and help nurture their relationship with God through hands-on, retreat-style faith formation. A Level 1 Training Course will be offered at Ascension Catholic Parish, Calgary, on February 13–18 (Part A) and July 14–19 (Part B), 2025. Register by January 10, 2025, at cgsac.ca/courses-1.     The tradition continues! Join the four beautiful choirs of St. John Choir Schola for Nine Lessons and Carols. When: Sun, Dec 15, 7:30 pm, St. Mary’s Cathedral. A beautiful evening of readings, choral music, and hymns. Freewill offering at the door. All are welcome! More

    • Carols & Cocoa at St. Joseph's - Fri, Dec 13, at 6:30 pm, St. Joseph's, Calgary - Join us for a cozy, festive evening! Enjoy carols, fellowship, and cheers over some cookies & cocoa! 
    • Christmas Concert with Deborah Nyack, Harpist - Sun, Dec 22 at 7:30 pm, Shrine Church of Our Lady of the Rockies - Enjoy a night of timeless Christmas carols and festive melodies, performed in the breathtaking setting of Canmore.

    • St. James, Okotoks - Sat, Dec. 7 from 4 to 8 pm. Experience Bethlehem at "The Living Nativity" with live actors, music, and animals! Enjoy this outdoor event and warm up with refreshments in the church hall.
    • Holy Name, Calgary - Sat, Dec 7 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Visit the Holy Family in Bethlehem! Enjoy shepherds, animals, fire pits, hot chocolate, and cookies. Fun for all!
