United in prayer for the end of the Pandemic

Picture
We invite you to pray for the countries devastated by the pandemic. Pray especially for those with the Coronavirus, those who care for them, and those who are suffering from anxiety during this stressful time. Parishes are encouraged to offer some of your scheduled Masses for these intentions.
  • Suggested prayer intentions:
    • For the troubled areas of our world, especially for our brothers and sisters in India and Brazil who are experiencing loss, transition or change. May God strengthen all who have been discouraged or victimized by this pandemic, and all who grieve the loss of a loved one, we pray to the Lord.

For world leaders, that God may give them the grace to work together during this pandemic to promote justice and special care toward the poor, sick and vulnerable, we pray to the Lord.

For those most susceptible to the Coronavirus, that God will protect them from illness and surround them with the peace of knowing that they are loved and cared for beyond measure, we pray to the Lord.

For all of us yearning for the Sacrament of the Eucharist during this time, that God may bless our hunger with an ever increasing devotion and love of Christ that compels us to share that love with others, we pray to the Lord.

For all parishes in our Diocese and throughout the world, that God may bless their creative efforts in safely reaching out and providing for the spiritual and material needs of people, we pray to the Lord.

For all of us, that God will give us the grace to know his presence in our everyday lives, and to know him as our constant companion in times of loneliness, our gladness in times of suffering, and our sure hope in times of uncertainty, we pray to the Lord.

Holy Father's May 2021 Prayer Marathon

Pope Francis has invited Catholics and 30 Marian Shrines around the world to dedicate the month of May to a marathon of praying the Holy Rosary for an end to the Covid-19 pandemic and the resumption of social and work activities. Each day of the month is also characterized by a prayer intention for the various categories of people most affected by the flight of pandemic.
  • Vatican news channels will broadcast the Rosary each day at 10 AM MST.
