In January Our Lady of the Assumption and St Basil’s CWL Councils amalgamated to form All Saints CWL Council. The new executive was installed in February at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. The offertory was carried by President Elaine Frederickson, Marlene Pittman (charter member of Our Lady of the Assumption) and Vice President Dorothy Shelson. The CWL executive was introduced at mass at St. Basil's Church.

A Red Sand Ceremony, organized by All Saints CWL, was held on February 22 in front of St Basil’s Church in Lethbridge. About thirty people attended the prayer service and poured red sand into the sidewalk cracks to remind us of those who are trafficked and fall through the cracks.
