Father Kevin's answers to your questions
Are we responsible for the sins of other people?
Example: A parent who failed to give a proper guidance and upbringing of his/ her child... The child grew up on streets... And later as an adult committed grave sins. Is that parent responsible for the sins of that person?
In the Catechism number 1868 and 1869 we find that sin is a personal act but we have a responsibility for the sins committed by others when we cooperate in them.
By participating directly or voluntarily in them
By ordering, advising, praising or approving them
By not disclosing or hindering them when we have an obligation to do so
By protecting evil doers
So based on CCC1868 the answer would be yes, the extent of the responsibility only God knows. For example the parents even though the child grew up on the streets may have taught that certain things were wrong but as an adult the person chose to perform these acts anyway. In this case there might be o guilt on the part of the parents. On the other hand if while growing up the parents condoned a certain action and the person as an adult continues to do these things the parents guilt would be greater. Again in the end only God can judge.
Hope this makes sense.

How does one cleanse their hands before receiving the Holy Eucharist? I wash my hands before mass but I'm not sure if my hands are still considered unclean?
When receiving the Eucharist in the hand we try to ensure they are clean of dirt, washing before going to church is consider acceptable.

I understand guardian angels can hear our thoughts (ie "thank you for helping me get through this meeting") but fallen angels need us to command our thoughts aloud? (Ie. "in the name of Jesus be gone" this needs to be said aloud)
Is this accurate?
Both our guardian angel and bad angels can hear our thoughts. But [to] have power over the bad angels the words must be spoken out loud. "And God spoke" and creation began, power of the spoken word

I understand that some people drink holy water. Is this ok? Discouraged? Encouraged?
Where could I get blessed salt and what would I do with it?
Many people do drink holy water. It's not exactly encourage nor is it discouraged. Many churches have holy water dispensers that people assume are for drinking.
Blessed salt can be obtained from most priests, you sprinkle it at entrance to you house so the devil may not enter. The devil cannot cross over blessed salt.

At weekday masses when is the correct time to say the Communion Antiphon? And, when there is a choice of two Communion Antiphons how do we choose?
The communion antiphon should be said as the priest consumes the body of Christ. If there is more than one communion antiphon it should match the one used at the beginning of mass.

Cannons state: All baptized Christians must receive Eucharist unless they excommunicate themselves. Why even though we recognize the baptized from other denominations are they excluded from communion?
I believe the cannon is 9:12
Canon 912 reads: any baptized person who is not forbidden by law may and must be admitted to Holy Communion. To understand this canon you must refer to canon 844 for those who we may not share with. As a Catholic minister I may not administer the sacraments to anyone but Catholics and Catholic members may only receive from a Catholic minister. There are a few exceptions but that is the general rule. Also canon 920 stipulates that once admitted to the blessed Eucharist we are obliged to receive communion once a year during the paschal time, the 56 days of the Easter season.

Should the same degree of reverence be shown when following Mass on Salt and Light as attending Mass at Church?
What spiritual benefits are obtained from TV Mass?
It is recommended that the same reverence given at church be shown while watching mass on TV. With a family of small children this could be a way of teaching reverence. God is very generous with his grace and blessings. As long as watching the mass on TV is not being done so as to avoid going to church, then the prayers and reflection would be of great value.

We were married civilly, what do we need to do to have our marriage blessed in the Catholic Church?
You need to meet with your priest. Every situation is different and there are many question and answers that will affect what paperwork needs to be done for the blessing to take place.

How do I get communion delivered to me on Sundays when I am sick at home ?
To get communion brought to you, you call the office before end of work Friday so we can arrange for it to be brought to you. The other option is could a family member bring it to you. They would phone the office again to let us know of your need. They would come and talk with the priest before Mass to arrange for a pix and instructions of what to do and how to do things.
