Tribute to Father Kevin and Father Nathan
By Loretta Bruchet

Two years have come and gone since Father Kevin was assigned to be our Pastor. Being the person he is and the leader he is, he stepped up to the challenge. And challenging it has been. With crumbling buildings and disgruntled church body, he has and continues, along with Father Nathan to lead us in faith, hope, love and courage.
Both Father Kevin and Father Nathan are true leaders, exemplifying what it means to be disciples of Christ.
There have been so many times we have been witnesses to your example.
On a daily basis you both go about your tasks, doing what Jesus wants you to do, and I’m sure - not giving any thought as to how you impact the followers in your flock. Teaching by your example...what it means for us to be catholic, what it means for us to be a brother or sister following Christ.
We watch you shepherd us, celebrate with us, grieve with us, pray with us, pray for us, and teach us.
We have been given so many opportunities to learn about our faith, to have a deeper knowledge and understanding of our church’s teachings.
We have been given Literary gifts at Christmas and Easter, retreats, workshops, Bible studies, the availability of Lighthouse CD’s, and of course the inspiring, sometimes humurous, and wonderful homilies we receive from you both.
We are very blessed at All Saints Parish to have 2 wonderful priests. We can’t and do not take you for granted.
We all know the power of prayer and there are so many that are praying for you. Praying that God will continue to uphold you in strength and in good health.
As we begin another year in our parish life, we want you to know how much we appreciate you. We want to thank you both for all that you do. For the long hours you put in your day, going about doing what has to be done and taking care of things we don’t even know or hear about, or - can even imagine!
Hopefully in this coming year we too can step up to the plate. To live our faith in love and service and grow in community spirit.
Thank you for putting up with all of us and our idiosyncrasy’s.
Thank you for continuing to lead us.
And from our hearts thank you for continuing to answer God’s call.
God Bless you both.
